I used the 2398 for my truck

Is that the same part number that you used?
I have a B&W Companion and Turnover ball on the truck in my siganature line. There is a difference between the 2WD and 4WD.

Mine installed without problems and I use them to tow trailers (both 5'ers and TT) for delivery all over the country and Canada. The Ride Rites work great.
