His Superduty doesn't have a pump in the valley like your truck (94-97?).
The metal line that Blue Dog replaced has rubber ferrule compression fittings on each end. I'd check there first (one at the fuel bowl, and one at the rear of the passenger side head). If those are tight, then the line clamp (plastic coated) may have rubbed thru the steel line.
