'01 trans problems
43,000 miles, I tow 8k about 500 miles per month.
Today as I was driving it felt as though someone had applied the brakes. It would do this for a few seconds and then be fine for a few seconds and repeat. Trans has never been hot and seems to work ok in 2nd.
1) Ideas?
2) Should I take it to the dealer or look for a trans specialist in the D/FW Texas area?
