I have a 12-foot, 14,000-pound PJ dump trailer, and I haul my 4200 John Deere tractor w/ backhoe, (5,000-pounds) don’t even know it’s back there! Of course the bucket hangs over the front, (blocked up) and the doors / tailgate doesn’t quite close.
But it does work.

2004 F-550, 6.0 PSD, Torqshift, 4:88 LS axle, Flatbed dump with a 10-ton Scott hoist. Autometer Pyro/trans/boost on pillar. Turbo lifesaver.
