Thanks

Running WVO in a 6.4 is a big risk with a very expensive engine.

I've seen injectors that that failed in an HPCR cummins engine after running WVO diesel mix over 30K miles or so. The nozzles were worn and injectors leaked. Finally one injector failed and burned a hole in piston.

WVO has a detergent effect on fuel system parts. Add the high pressure of the HPCR system and you get accelerated wear (high pressure honning) on HPCR fuel system parts.

Here is a dieselstop link that discusses a different prospective on problems with WVO.

Very Serious Problem With WVO

On older engines, with mechinical lower pressure injector pumps, WVO can work well if you understand what you are doing. I've run WVO mixed with diesel in older diesel tractors and some older diesel trucks for years with good results.
