OK, I was removing pieces of a tree stump next to our house today, so I ran the truck on and off for the afternoon. during the whole time that it was on, it was smoking. Toward the end of the day, I notice that there was liquid in the exhaust pipe. put my finger in it, smelled it and looked at it. From what it looked like was a thin burnt orange liquid that had a oily texture to it. Parked it, shut it off and looked at the oil level. The oil level was still full and I really didn't see the white tip on the stick. However the coolant level was a lot lower than it was yesterday. I'm guessing the head gaskets are bad, so ill order them on Mon when Ford opens. the gaskets are like $78 a piece. Does this scenario sound like a head gasket to you?
