On the 2008 I have, I drive with the lights day and night. With the lights on, the informatoin center dims to a point it is almost unreadable. Turning the interior lights adjustment now only makes it dimmer.

Is there a way one could disconnect/severe the signal that tells the information sensor the lights are on?

I would like to see the information center but I do not want to have to keep the lights off in the daytime to see it.

Any options?

Your dealer can program the truck for the daytime running lights and this will fix your issue.
I've done this on two 08's
