Let's wait and see if the Scorpion has improved engineering in areas like more headbolts per cylinder and possibly better packaging for service. My guess is these issues will be addressed as they have had impact on profit on the trucks given aftersale costs (warranty and owner confidence/repurchase rate). Easier to service does relate to warranty costs and owner happiness.
Higher MPG and REAL GAUGES would be icing on the cake!
There is no stands totally above the competition truck in the market. My opinion is Ford builds trucks that suit me and make me feel good when driving and more importantly, towing. The others do not fail miserably at these tasks but they do the tasks less pleasingly TO ME. In spite of all the bad press/commentary on 6.0's, Ford trucks rule in the oil patch and in construction business. I am seeing companies en masse that have had 6.0's now buying 08's with 6.4. I do not think they would do this if the cost of ownership and usefulness of the truck was not good and if they were totally displeased with their experience with 6.0's
