I've passed quite a few chicken coops in my travels that have signs on them saying ALL vehicles over 4 tons GVW, some say 5T. I don't usually haul that heavy when going by these stops so I don't know how strict they are about making private horse trailers/RV's pull in. I can say I did pass right by one with the dually work truck and 14k horse trailer and they didn't come looking for me.

I just was wondering how fine a line I'm walking by only having the truck registered for 5k and what would happen if'n I was to get caught being under-registered.
