I changed mine at 5k and 15k but I used it for freeway and highway only, no trailer. Now I have a trailer and will tow up to 25k behind the 450 so my interval will drop to 5k. I have yet to add oil between changes and stays right at the "full" mark. I'll probably add bypass filter because I'll probably be making more soot at the new higher power levels required by the trailer and load.
