UPDATE: When I got to work the other day, I shut off my 2008 F350 when it wasn’t done the Regen cycle and I was getting 7.2 mpg on the TDC. On the way home I seen the “CLEANING EXUAST FILTER” for the second time, so I took the long way home till the MPG started going up and when I got home the TDC said 9.2. Today I had to take a trip on the highway, 36 miles each way that had a few hills and set the cruise at 62 mph. Before I left I reset the TDC and on the way there the TDC reached 17.2 mpg (US) and reset the TDC before I left to go back home and the TDC showed 16.4mpg (US) when I got back home. I guess taking this truck for short drives around town only clogs the filter. I don’t intend to use this truck for a grocery cart and now I know I can’t use it for a daily driver, but I wanted to get miles on it before I pull my 12,000 pound 5th. The Dealer said that an ECM update is going to be out soon, but he also said that two months ago. I don’t know that this is useful data or not, but thought I would add my observations to the forum.
