Fuel Mileage

Hi Guys,

It had been some time since I have posted. It is good to know you all are still here!

I test drove an '08 last week and I am seriously considering one. It was a crewcab King Ranch and the thing drove like some luxury cars that I have owned in the past.

The main thing that concerns me about the truck in the fuel mileage. The truck had about 40 miles on the odometer and the computer calculated 7.0 miles-per-gallon. Is this all the truck sees? I have seen numerous posts about this and my current truck is problem free; I just want a new one. My current truck gets about 17.0 on the highway.

Realistically, what can I expect? I saw in a magazine about the same mileage that members of TDS report. Thanks for your replies. Craig.
