From what I understand, a person can have the programming changed in the engine control computer that does away with the regen feature for the diesel particulate filter. This brings mileage up to comparable with the 6.0 liter engine. But, as you say, the warranty gets thrown out as well. I didn't see a signature, 'daddy, but it looks like you have one from the picture, so, you should know. Thanks for your reply, Craig.
