I get around 13-13.5 driving 60mph, and that is with a truck that weighs about a thousand pounds more than a 350DRW, and when towing a 12k fifth wheel rv, I usually see 9.5-10.5mpg. Wonder why your 350 is seeing less? If you saw 7mpg on the truck at the dealers, many factors have to be considered. Maybe an idiot took it out on a "test" drive and beat the crap out of it, or maybe it was shutdown during a regeneration of the DPF? I am very grateful that I ordered my truck, watched it being unloaded from the carrier and besides the delivery driver and the dealer's diesel mechanic, I am the only other driver, bought it with 3 miles on the odometer. If fuel mileage is your main concern with a heavy duty diesel pickup, forget any of the current emission compliant trucks. Look for a 2007 6.0PSD or a nice Chevy/GMC Duramax of the same year.
