my truck just turned 17k while on a fishing trip. i was pretty surprised, i got 16.8 going out (356miles) and 17.1 coming home. that was with stock wheels and tires and keeping the boost under 10psi as much as possible and keeping the truck a 68 mph. and i did check it on the calculator on my cell and it was a tenth lower.
