A carquest store is where I got mine, but it is an old autoparts store that does most of it's business with the trade, not retail. Been around a long time, and I have to drive into the city from the yuppy suburburbs where I live to get to it. Very little room between the front door and the counter, and most of the store is dedicated to their parts shelves behind the counter. (And you're right, Hank is not going to know, as he's just an old timer from the neighborhood killing time in the store since the local barber shop closed

)
All I did was take in the Moog zerk that came with the ball joints, and say "I need a lower profile one." They took me to their bulk drawer of zerks, and we found one with the lowest neck they had, with the right threads and 90 degree head, and I bought them. Maybe this is similar to the difference between the old hardware store thats been there for 50 years, and the new flashy box store that was just built.
The zerks you need are out there, but you might not find them at an auto parts store that advertises on TV.
