Seriously i'm lost and need help to figure this out. Thanks in advance
Bob Riley at the DIESELSITE.com used to sell a lboost leak checker. It is around 60 bucks. You undo the intake to turbo hose and put in this large leak checker plug with fittings that clamps off the supply end. Then you put low pressure regulated air from an air compressor on the fittings pressurizing the turbo and intercooler system. A hose leak will be evident from the hissing sound and pretty easy to find with the engine off. Leaks are pretty common with the stock FORD silicon boots. If I am in OD cruzing unloaded at 50 MPH I get 2 PSI boost. That is pretty low RPM and not much fuel is getting burned. So if you are reading no boost then you probably do have a leak. What temp does your pyro run then? 106
