I drove 300 miles on battery power only, I sat and watch the elec sysem shut down one by one, last was the tranny in limp home mode. Started with XM, then radio, then back lights, windows....still open and rain ahead, gages in one click all were gone. Now it could be a speed sensor too, the one on the rear end or front of motor. Now that I think of it if you did not have the rest go you would have the sensor, dealer can find it on the computer. Second time on the alt.....don't believer the hype, a truck cannot run without one....for long that is. Found an auto zone open memorial day at 7pm, had a dirt bike on the back hitch tray and rode it to the shop.....lost an hour.
