Seriously.... in all honesty.... you're going to get different answers from different people. Some people will swear that the way they've been doing it for their entire life works just fine for them. These are the same people that'll tell you that they know how to maintain their truck better than Ford does. I am a firm believer in adhering to what's stated in the manual--and nowhere in the manual does it state that you can vary the maintenance interval on oil changes depending on which type you use.
