water molecules have 2hydrogen atoms a 1oxygen atom. By running an electical charge usually with stainless steel plates through water and an electrolite usually baking soda, you can seperate the water into a gas. It only takes 2 volts to produce this gas . This 2-1 ratio helps to completely burn the fuel in the clyinder. Since hydrogen is 1000 times more flamable than gas and oxygen aids in the burn, when you use high amounts of this gas you need to modify the engine timing. This stuff burns fast. most units I've seen produce about 1 Quart of gas per minute. Hydrogen generators burn the gas thay produce so you don't have to store large amounts. This can be a very dangerous gas so I dont suggest anyone playing around with it unless you do your research. I've been experimenting with it for about six months and every week I learn somthing new. As far as valve damage I've only heard of it with the guys trying to run 100%. This is not a new Idea its been around since about 1901.
