I have a 01 excursion with the evo 2 and its good. I also wanted it for the guages and trouble code clearing and reading. It works great for that. I dont like that it takes 6 min to load a program. Most everyone on this site says to get the dp tuner. I figured I could have mine loaded later from dp with there tunes but now realize that I need to change programs on the fly so im getting the dp tuner f5. I also drove my truck like a race car for a week and smoked the trans so now I drive it nice in race mode and get great mileage. I think the evo2 is great and it will be perfect set in stock mode running the dp f5. Its the same price as guages and lets you read and clear trouble codes and you can choose from many types of guages like oil temp or volts ect. Dp has a great mileage program and if you dont have a bts trans or other beefy trans you cant really use a 120hp program anyway. hope that helps!
