I can agree to the way you drive it depends on fuel mileage. A buddy of mine drives a new 08 F-550 crew cab 2x4 auto 4.88 gears with a 9 foot dump on it. He drives like he stole it always accelerating hard from every stop light and going no less then 70mph on the highway. He gets around 4-6 Mpg out of it and has to fill up every morning or it will run out of fuel. Good thing he works for a landscape company and it isn't his truck or fuel bill. I know if I drive it I could easily do better than that but I would drive different also.
