Running #1 diesel will get you LESS Hp. I had to reprogram 90 busses with DDA engines, they were programmed for #1 and they wer running #2 fuel. This was a NO_NO, epa says they had to much hp than was advertised. This is why the winter blend or #1 fuel gets us poor fuel mileage in the winter.
