mjstef, I would bet a cold one that your friend's 550 weighs quite a bit more than 10,000lbs as equipped as the photo indicates. My 2008 F-450 tips the scales at 9,000lbs with a full tank of fuel and me aboard with nothing in the bed. I would guessestimate it weighs closer to 12-13,000lbs.
