The door that directs the air flow IS vacuum controlled, but I don't understand why it would change all of the sudden. Has this happened before or the first time? Did any warning lights on the dash show up (ie the brake warning light for low vacuum?) If it's happening all the time, could be the switch that controls/directs the vacuum to the correct line.
