They`ve been running the systems for 2 months and I have personnally seen the Z71 go from getting 270 miles to a tank of gas to 400!!! His cousin says he is getting 25 MPG unloaded and 21 MPG loaded! This is crazy. I`m really wanting to put one on my super duty but I`m just scared about the long term wear on the motor. Do you guys see this hurting my motor or not? The savings would be great but the cost of a new motor right now would kill me.

I have been doing a lot of research on this as of late and I think one of the most attractive aspects of this system is that it burns cleaner. Supposedly helps clean out cylinders, pistons and rings, by removing carbon buildup. I have been warned that there are a few models of vehicles where there is very little benefit as far as mileage is concerned. Those are v10 dodge gassers, Toyotas, and 6.0 and 7.3 liter Powerstrokes. Reasons were not given as to why. I am going to install one for cleaner burning benefits primarily and if I receive any mpg's gains then great. Most of the units you will find for sale will be a 4 to 6 plate generator. I believe for our liter capacity we will need minimum of 8 to 10 plate generators. Maybe even 12.
