Fuel transfer pump for WMO

I have a Tuthill SD1200 transfer pump (the yellow one) and I was wanting to use it to pick up WMO. But I wasn't sure if it could handle the viscosity, then again I just moved to Georgia and it's 90 deg. I don't want to risk a $250 pump before I got some feedback. Thanks for any info.
