You must have a pretty dirty filter! I just towed with a GCVW of 35,500 with my F450 and the filter minder didn't budge. I was at full throttle and 3000 rpm for several long hills and if that won't do it, I don't know what will. BTW, I'm at 19,000 miles on the stock air filter . . .
