NBhunter, we're talking about 6.4s. Your 6.0 doesn't have a DPF. 6.4s are not supposed to smoke or have soot in the tailpipes. However, my 6.4 has had black soot in the tailpipes since the day I brought it home and it will puff out a little black smoke sometimes.
