New W.D system
I just got a new w.d system for an 14k equipment trailer of mine. I haven't used this type before and I'm wondering if there is a way to get the bars set in on the brackets without lifting the trailer as high as they suggest. Here is a link to what I got. Pro Series SC Weight Distribution by Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese, 1,400 TW, 14K GTW 49580 : Trailer hitch bike rack and trailer hitches - etrailer.com I am thinking of slipping a larger diameter piece of tubing over the end of the bar and lifting it up into the bracket. Having to lift the front of the trailer and truck so far is too time consuming in my mind. Anyone deal with this before? thanks, Nick.
