Gore is neither a scientist, engineer or a competent policy maker. He is a self-seeker driven purely by money.

He is a Hedge-Fund manager and his Hedge-Fund (generation investments) is based in London.
You can bore everyone to tears touting the company line about Capitalism and all that but when one is driven purely by money the right things don't happen.
Take Ethanol for instance. It doesn't get America any closer to being energy independent, it harms the environment, causes people to starve, and does not reduce carbon emissions but it sure makes
$money$ for those involved in it's manufacture and sale.
