All the alternative energy sources need to be pursued. Oil shale is probably an excellent source for the future. They're building windmills all around me as fast as they can. But right now we need to bring more oil wells on line to increase supply.

Yes, I have an oil and natural gas well "in my back yard", and I can see several others out the front door on the ranch across the highway. I wish I had more. They make almost zero noise as they pump. A couple of times a week a man called a "pumper" drives a half-ton pickup out there to check on it. What's not to like?
