A few things I've done to improve mileage include: installed a bed cover , aways use stanadyne performance additive, switched to full synthetic oil, and just today, updated engine software to TSB 08-13-2

By the way, when towing the 34ft trailer I run between 60 and 62mph. On a recent 3,000+ mile trip, I averaged 11.0 mpg. trailer weight is 9,800 to 10,000 lbs.

I'm anxious to see if the software makes any difference.
Just curious what you do with your truck? It sounds like allot of truck for a bed cover and only pulling a trailer with a weight of 10,000 pounds. I would think a F-350 would be over kill for that but like I say just curious.
