From what I have read, the V-10's from 1999 to 2005 all will benefit from intake, exhaust, Y-pipe and programmers. From 2006-present, not much improvement over stock with mods, except for some programmers. From 2006-present, factory went with a nice set of headers, twin cats and the computer is set for maximum hp. Add to that the 5 speed TS tranny and you have a real winner for power and towing. Mileage is another issue and if you want a mileage pickup, go for the F-150 or Ranger as the F-250/350 is a tow rig.
