There's an ebay seller that sells 50-1 micron blown poly filters for a buck a piece - you need to buy in quantities of 25 though.

I had one scary moment where I was accelerating from a stop and all of a sudden the engine seemed to be struggling, and my EGT was up about 200 degrees from the maximum I usually see, but after easing off throttle for 10-15 seconds the EGT dropped back to normal and the usual level of power seemed to return. Where are you guys finding 2 micron water filters? At Menards and TSC where I have purchased filters, they lowest they have is a 5 micron.
