I have made and installed a "smacks" type booster in my 6.0 . had some problems getting it right, but now i am runnig it all the time. mpg was 16.4 hwy runing 75/25 bio/dino. i have increased mpg to 24.8 hwy consistantly, for the last 5 1/2 months. went on vacation in early aug. & got 17.1 pulling a 30' 5th wheel camper. 9300lbs. compared to 12/13 mpg. I can't say any long term problems, just great mpg's . this modiied "smacks" boosterputs out 1.4 liter p/min. draws 29amps full load, and uses a 30 amp pwm. total cost $109.00
