sounds like it could be a high pressure oil pump or ipr valve problem as well. i'm not as familiar with the newer '07 as i am with some of the older model heui 466's but you might see if there is a port on the high pressure oil rail you can tap into with a gauge to see what kind of pressure you're getting when it doesn't start.
