It seems to work fine on "the other site". Woops.
None of the differences between trucks go along motor lines. Not glow plug systems (1987), not ZF5 vs 4 speed (1987), not C6 vs E4OD(1989).
In other words you cannot conclude anything about the truck solely based on what engine it has.
