This is the problem with most fuel economy "improvers", They take forever to pay off, and in most cases don't provide the gains claimed in their advertisements.
Fuel economy is a head game as much as anything else. There is only so much you can do to a truck like this, and often the cost just doesn't return the gain. You can do as muck or more by altering your driving habits and taking care of the maintenance of your truck. Keep the tires aired, the brakes in good repair, a cap on the back, the tailgate up, the rpms at 2k, the truck moving, don't idle, don't punch it through intersections, don't drive stupid speeds, don't drive in stop & go.
Most aftermarket stuff is to get you to use more fuel not less. If the additives & treatments that are out there really worked, they'd be in use by the manufactures in order to boost sales.
