Alum diff cover bolts

I just bought an '08 Super Duty aluminum diff cover for my '05 and was wondering if anyone knew the specs on the bolts I should use. The cover is much thicker, so the old steel cover bolts won't work. Metric or SAE? Should I use aluminum bolts or steel? The factory bolts for this cover are over $11 a piece!! so that rules those out....

Thanks

Greg
