A new one did come with it and it got installed. The mechanic showed me the old one and had half the play as the new one did. The fork was not hooched it was just really warn and they said while they were in there the extra 50 bucks would be worth it. The old set-up was a smf from LUK. The mechanic showed me the old clutch/release bearing and he is gonna keep everything for a bit just incase.... The person who sold me the kit recomended it because if i did not and something went wrong valair would not warranty it. How loud is the grinding noise? I can hear mine sitting in another car that is parked beside my idiling truck. Too loud. The tranny shop said tranny was fine and the clutch shifts threw all the gears beautifally upshifting and downshifting and only grinds when in neautral and clutch released. Should i be worried? My truck pays my bills. Every day the truck is down that is money i do not get paid.
