Do you have a source for WVO? It is getting very hard to find in your area. Whatever you do, don't steal it. Theft has really cast a negative shadow on us. Unless you'd like to be harrassed by cops for driving around w/a barrel and a pump in your truck - then stealing is OK - as long as ya don't mind when the guy who owns the oil catches you and.....

If you do the Ford, get a 7.3 PSD - '99 and up are better. If ya want more than x-cab, ie - crew cab, you must get a Ford. The DFA Vegistroke V3 is the only conversion to consider. The others are junk adapted from 'traditional' diesel engine design 'retrofitted' (poorly I'll add) to the unique PSD injection system.

If ya get the Cummins, you'll want the Frybrid conversion system.

Listen, YOU especially are going to get your money back from a 'good' conversion. Don't cheap out and get some crap thats gonna leave you on the side of the road (if ya make it that far). It will invariably fail in the cold, while its raining and yer in a hurry takin' the grumpy mother-in-law to the airport. The DFA and Frybrid systems are bar-none the highest quality products your money can buy. They WILL work, the first time, without issues - and Frybrid systems operate SVO in -45 deg weather (DFA should go below 0 no problem).

Happy hunting! Good luck!
