Remove transmission first??
Im just getting ready to change my engine for a new one, and the third step on the ford service manual reads
"On vehicles equipped with manual transmissions, the transmission must be removed before the engine can be removed"
Does anyone know why? Is this a true fact that must be done, or is it one of those "must pull the cab to pull motor" deals? can you get around it?
