Smell is a individual perception to a large extent.... I like to smell my farts
but my wife pukes haha.
I would stay away from TERRIBLE smelling oil. It should only smell like the food that was cooked in it. I would suggest visiting some places that dont use those commercial dumpsters... find a place with a 55gal drum and take a small sample. Try a pizza shop (tho they use pho oil many times fyi)
Alot of those dumpsters I have seen restaurants dumping solid food waste into.
