...I havent used DSE's "secret ingredient" in about almost a year now. I substitute Power Service's 'white' bottle of diesel additive which primarily disperses water if present in the fuel, along with anti gelling and moderate cetane boosting qualities. That is all DSE's additive is used for...removal/dispersal of any water and to combat gelling issues. On their bottle, the ingredients listed at one time was Naptha/Napthlene, Xylene & Mineral Spirits. No two stroke oil in their additive, lol. I am having excellent results with Power Service's product for water removal.
..I dont use kerosene anymore. For almost a year now, Ive been using plain ole #2 diesel as my thinner. (Cant get kerosene in these parts anymore)
..As per cost, I truly spend about $1.85 a gallon to produce my own fuel.
