I have been using 1 ounce of both naptha and turpentine per 10 gallons of WVO. Like your area, K1 is hard to get around here, but I don't want to use D2 as my thinner. I have read in so many places that only half the amount of K1 has to be used to equal the effects of D2 as a cutting agent. I have had good luck with using Jet-A in place of K1. It runs about a $1 more per gallon than D2, but using half as much saves $$$. My cost is running at about $1 per gallon

...I hear ya, but I am not in the least bit worried about any 'polymerization' effects, especially at this point. I really am rather WELL PLEASED with the results using DK thus far!!

As far as DK allowing any water molecules to pass thru my fuel system, so be it, as it would be miniscule amounts if any at all, considering the Racor Nautilus fuel filter I use which strips 99.9% of any water from the fuel blend. Anyhow, to further add, I could look at it as an 'in house' water injection addition!!

Ive run two trucks well in excess of 150,000 + miles between the two using the DSE blend using the additives listed with
ZERO injector or injector pump failure!! I assure you, if I had
ANY failure due to this cold blend method and its additives, Id be the first to let you guys know!!!
I understand when using kerosene as your thinning agent, you use roughly half the amount of that of #2 diesel. I use to, but like I said, availability for me became zero. Also, I find the thinning is improved using #2 instead of kerosene. I dont mind paying the little xtra $ for it as it also helps increase the cetane and btu characteristics of the blend.
But heh, what works for you is great & what works for me is just fine as well...
