I'm figuring that as soon as the injectors start up, the engine starts. It does make sense that the IDM could be looking for enough oil pressure.

For now, I can at least run my glowplugs before I even turn on the ignition. Then after I turn the key, I can start it during the few seconds the "wait to start" light is on.

I would be happy to wire in a bypass for the IDM so it ignores whatever its looking for.
