Ditto on the starting fluid. I would try to find a tech familiar with this engine or
bring it to a ford dealer. My guess would be a high pressure oil leak. Would be my
guess due to the fact that it had been driven and then wouldnt start hot. Sometimes
vehicle will start with a high pressure oil leak cold and then when engine gets hot and
oil thins, it will not build up the 500 psi of pressure to run the injectors. 03's were
known for high pressure oil pumps also. Good luck!!
