Exclamation

Just got back from the dealer. He gave me a print-out of the SSM that I will quote here:

SSM 20116 2008 F-SUPER DUTY 6.4L - WHITE SMOKE FROM EXHAUST WITH OR WITHOUT A DRIVABILITY COMPLAINT
Some 2008 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.4L Diesel Engine may exhibit excessive white smoke from exhaust with or without a drivability complaint. Concern may be most noticeable when: A) during aftertreatment regeneration initiation when ambient temperatures are below 55F B) in high humidity/damp driving conditions following steady state speed throttle tip-in/tip-out drive cycle. If normal diagnostic procedures do not resolve vehicle concern do not attempt further repairs. Engineering is currently investigating. Monitor OASIS for updates.
