my 97 standard cab has jbl 2 way 6.5" rounds in the door and and jbl 2 way 5x7"s in the rear corner panels. i have an kicker 8" sub in a wedge enclosure with a kenwood bridgeable 200 watt amp. jvc el cameleon amfmcd player. plenty of power from the head unit. sounds great! if you have the stock stereo it will not sound good. it does not have enough power for aftermarket speakers! its all about how much power you feed to the speakers.
